I’m so glad you’re here. This blog is all about self-discovery, personal growth, and nurturing empathy, for yourself and for others. If you’ve ever felt like you’re running on empty, emotionally drained, or just stuck in a cycle of burnout, you’re not alone. I’ve been there, and that’s why I’ve created this space: to share, to reflect, and hopefully to help you find your way back to yourself.
For years, I struggled with getting to know myself. I dealt with chronic depression and severe postpartum depression (PPD) that made it hard to even want to look inward, let alone improve anything. I was stuck in survival mode, just getting through each day, without any real sense of who I was or what I needed. But over time, I realized that staying disconnected from myself was only prolonging the struggle. It took a lot of time, patience, and a change in mindset to start taking small steps toward understanding myself.
Now, I’m on a journey to rebuild, to heal, and to grow. Empathy on Empty is my way of sharing what I’m learning along the way. It’s about being kind to ourselves, even when we feel we don’t deserve it, and finding ways to fill our emotional tanks again. It’s about taking those baby steps toward mental wellness, self-acceptance, and finding moments of light in the dark.
You’ll find posts about mindfulness, self-care, and personal growth, but also honest reflections on the struggles that come with these things. This is a space for healing, for real conversations about mental health, and for discovering what it means to live with more intention and empathy.
I’m not an expert or a therapist, just someone who’s learning as I go. My hope is that by sharing my story and the tools I’ve picked up, you’ll feel less alone in your own journey. Whether you’re working through burnout, trying to find balance, or just looking for small ways to improve your mindset, this blog is here to support you.
Thank you for being part of this space. I’m so excited to share this journey with you, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
